'Pippa'
Valokki Pipari (Pippa) was born on 18th May 2014, Her mother is Tuuli and her father is a Finnish dog registered as Ake (FIN46011/03), but known by his "pet" name of Rehju.
Pippa lives with and is owned by Christine Dardis and Alun Green in Kent.
Pippa gave birth to a litter of 5 puppies (4 girls, 1 boy) on Saturday 18th March 2017. The father of the puppies is Valokki Vihtori Veli known as Mika.
Pippa gave birth to her 2nd litter of 3 puppies (2 girls, 1 boy) on Friday 21st June 2019. The father of the puppies is RO/HU/SK/CZ/DE/DK Ch Björn-Kulta Poika of Storm Valley known as Björn. He was BoB at Crufts 2019.
Pippa had a Kennel Club approved eye test on 27th April 2017 which showed no evidence of inherited eye diseases (NAD).
Pippa took part in her first ever show at the Finnish Spitz Society's Ch Show on 17th June 2018. She won her first Reserve Bitch CC. Along with son Sibbe and daughters Sami and Roxy she also won the Griselda Price Progeny Class and with Sami she won the Brace class. At the City of Birmingham Ch show on 31st August 2018 she won her 2nd Reserve CC, and a week later at Richmond Ch show she got her 3rd.
At Crufts on 9th March 2019 Pippa was Best Bitch and won her first CC. The judge was breed specialist Mrs Alison Piearce.
In her first show after her success at Crufts and giving birth to her 2nd litter, Pippa was Best of Breed at the Nordic (Open) Show on 23rd November 2019 under judge Mr Anthony Bongiovanni.
In her first Championship Show since Crufts, Pippa won her 4th Reserve Bitch CC at Manchester on 17th January 2020 under Norwegian judge Mr Espen Engh.
Pippa was again Best Bitch at Crufts on 8th March 2020 and won her 2nd CC under breed specialist judge Stuart Byrne. This was only her 8th ever Championship Show less than 2 years after her first.
Pippa achieved her Crufts 'hat-trick' on 11th March 2022 under judge Mr Jeff Horswell. She was again Best Bitch (and also Best Veteran). By winning her 3rd CC we are delighted that she became the first new Finnish Spitz Champion of 2022.
Pippa was awarded the Reserve Bitch CC and Best Veteran by judge Mr Mark Cocozza at her 4th successive Crufts appearance on 11th March 2023.
